Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Labor and Delivery Nurse positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Schedule: 48 hours per week

Shift: 4x12 Nights (12 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $3100.00- $3170.00 Weekly DOE

Overview

We are looking for a caring, dedicated labor and delivery nurse to join our team of physicians, midwives, and other professionals in caring for women during their pregnancy, labor, and birth. The Labor and Delivery Nurse assists the physician or midwife with all aspects of pregnancy and birth, assists surgeons during caesarian sections, and cares for women who experience complications with their pregnancies or birthing processes.

Required Skills:

Provide prenatal care and monitor pregnancies
Teach childbirth prep classes
Support and educate expectant mothers
Monitor labor and fetal health
Assist with delivery and manage complications
Perform newborn assessments
Guide postpartum recovery and infant care
Use labor/delivery equipment and administer meds

Qualifications:

Experience: 2 years of RN-L&D experience
IA or compact license in hand
Certification: BLS (AHA
